How do I get started?
What does Hurricane Tax do?
Bottom line, we resolve tax problems. We are a firm of tax specialists such as IRS Enrolled Agents, CPA’s, tax attorneys, and other tax professionals dedicated to obtaining the best possible tax solution for you. We customize a strategic plan of resolution with your personal goals in mind.
The process is simple. First, we will file a power of attorney with the IRS and immediately call to request a stop on all collections activity. This will give us some time to complete and submit any unfiled tax returns and request all of your IRS account transcripts. Next, we will send you a simple financial questionnaire to complete. Once we have all of your account transcripts from the IRS and your financial information we can formulate a ‘plan of attack’. As soon as we identify the best solution for you, we will prepare and submit the proper forms to the IRS or State tax agency and follow through until your case is completely resolved.
Why choose Hurricane Tax?
Hurricane Tax was created with a mission to deliver the highest standard in the industry, in which the client’s best interest is first and foremost. Many tax firms overcharge and cut corners by trying to get your case resolved as fast as possible. Although resolving your tax problems quickly can be good, it is not necessarily in your best interest. We care and have a passion for what we do. We will do whatever is possible and take as long as necessary to ensure you will receive the best representation possible.
Whether it is filing back taxes, amending prior tax returns, obtaining a properly structured installment agreement, negotiating a reduction in your tax debt, or any other service, we will leave no stone unturned and make sure we exhaust every opportunity to put you in the best possible tax situation.
How long does the process take?
Each tax case is different. Some are more complex and some quite simple. Normally we try to resolve cases within 2-6 months. More complex cases can take 9-12 months or longer. Because the resolution process involves waiting on the IRS it is impossible to determine exactly how long your particular tax case will take to resolve. In certain cases, proper strategic planning suggests we lengthen the process as much as possible to attain the best results.
Are you a law firm?
Hurricane Tax is a tax resolution firm, not a law firm. Your case is handled by an experienced professional such as an IRS Enrolled Agent, CPA, tax attorney, or all of the above, depending on the type of case you have, and the types of professionals the firm has employed at that time. We are a team of professionals with a sole purpose to attain the best possible tax resolution for you. Whether it’s releasing wage garnishments or bank levies, submitting a successful Offer in Compromise, or any other hardship or settlement program, we will not settle for anything less than the maximum relief possible for your situation.
Is it expensive?
The question is really about price vs. value, isn’t it? As Warren Buffet stated “price is what you pay, value is what you get”. At Hurricane Tax we believe in delivering great value. If we cannot offer enough value, regardless of price, we simply will not accept your case. Sometimes the ‘price’ can be very low, but if the value is not there, it still does not make sense.
At Hurricane Tax we work on a flat fee basis, not on a retainer or hourly basis, which can provide amazing value. It is impossible to quote an exact fee unless we have discussed your situation in detail. But, after an initial consultation we can put a fee in writing for you to review and start your case. Call 844-829-2494 (844-TAX-BIZ4) for a consultation so we can fully understand your case and give you a personalized quote.
Can I do this on my own?
Did you know the IRS tax code is over 4 million words?!?
Sure you can ‘try’ to do this on your own, but do you really want to? Is it really in your BEST interest to do so? Ask yourself, if your car was having problems would you try to fix it on your own? Perhaps you know how to change the oil but do you know how to rebuild your transmission or engine? If you were accused of a crime would you defend yourself in court? Yeah, maybe you’d win, but what if you didn’t? It’s not what you do know, it’s what you don’t know.
The IRS is not on your side. They are a collection agency looking to collect unpaid taxes from you, period. They are not here to educate you. Their goal is to collect unpaid taxes as quickly and as much as they possibly can. They will want all of your personal information: where you live, phone number, where you bank, where you work, how much you have in savings, what retirement accounts you have. Do you want to give them ALL of your personal information so they know exactly how to collect from you? Do you even know which hardship program suits you best, and more importantly, why?
Would you rather gamble and try to negotiate directly with the IRS or hire a team of professionals to settle this permanently? You may only have one chance to negotiate with the IRS. If it is not done properly by a tax professional it may not be able to be fixed. Call us for a free consultation at 844-829-2494 (844-TAX-BIZ4).
